- Planescape: Torment Developer Retrospective All backers will receive access to this retrospective, made up of developer diaries/blogs, a compilation of their thoughts and memories of the Planescape: Torment project. Anyone who backed Project: Eternity will also receive this reward, regardless of whether they back Torment. The developers contribution on this retrospective will include:

- Digital Novellas by Nathan Long, Mur Lafferty, Tony Evans and Monte Cook Added to all tiers that include the Digital Novella Compilation. The Novella Compilation features standalone novellas by Colin McComb and Monte Cook as well as From the Depths, five interlinked novellas by Adam Heine, Mur Lafferty, Nathan Long, Ray Vallese, and Tony Evans. Colin’s novella will be tied more directly to the story of our game, with backstory on some of the characters or companions (no major spoilers, of course). Monte’s novella will be a more proper introduction to the Ninth World and the Steadfast. Monte Cook’s novella will also be given to all backers of his Numenera campaign that pledged at the $20 ebook fan level or above.
Digital Comic Book Added to the $50 tier, and all tiers $75 and up. Torment: The Jack’s Gambit will be a 20-page digital comic that reveals some of the dark secrets of a companion’s past. What drives her to put herself in harm’s way? What turned her into the person she is today? What was the horror that tore her apart, and how did she rebuild herself? Get a glimpse of her past here… and maybe you’ll figure out how she fits into your long-term plans. DIGITAL
- Access to Official Torment Community Our plan is to continue gathering feedback from the crowd. We will provide both a public forum and a backer forum. The latter will be used for backer-only votes and feedback, and all backers will get access to it.
- DRM-free Digital Game One copy of Torment: Tides of Numenera for Windows PC, Mac or Linux, provided DRM-free and/or via your preferred digital retailer such as Steam, if available.
- Digital Game Manual A digital version of the game’s manual, which will be an old-school, informative, thick booklet.
- DRM-Free Digital Soundtrack A DRM-free copy of the game’s Original Soundtrack by Mark Morgan. Will be provided in VBR v0 mp3.
- Digital Concept Art Book A digital version of the concept art book, which will include many works from our concept artists and insights into the art process.
- Digital Novellas by Colin McComb, Ray Vallese, and Adam Heine A collection of novellas that tie into the game and Numenera setting, exploring themes and previewing the story so you get a glimpse as you wait for the game.
- Hi-res Digital Concept Art High-resolution versions of choice concept art.
- Digital Map A digital version of the cloth map.
- Alpha Test Access The alpha test is our first real test of our game systems and interface, and will be your first opportunity to give serious, hands-on feedback to the game. Alpha may not launch simultaneously on all platforms.
- Beta Test Access This will give you access to our beta testing round and beta tester’s forum. Not all of the game content will be open in the beta test, but it will give you a significant chunk of the game to play in so you can give us in-depth feedback on its strengths and weaknesses. Beta may not launch simultaneously on all platforms.
- Thanks in Credits (Oddity/Cypher/Artifact) All these tiers will see you listed in the game’s closing credits with a name of your choosing (subject to approval, but only for offensive content).
- Digital Numenera’s Player’s Guide The player’s guide is the perfect introduction into the Numenera world and pen-and-paper games system. It is a 64 page book, intended to give a new player a feel for the game and setting. Includes an overview of the setting, the rules and character creation.
- Digital Numenera’s Corebook Numenera’s main rulebook, this hefty 416 page tome with color art. This book gives you all the rules of the game as well as the Ninth World setting, GM advice and even some adventures to get you started.
- Copy of Wasteland 2 One digital copy of Wasteland 2, DRM-free or via your preferred digital retailer, for Windows PC, Mac or Linux. Includes a digital game guide.
In-Game Content
- Be Dead and Remembered We will place your name or a name of your choosing (subject to approval) on a tombstone in one of the graveyards in the game. Half the fun is finding out where you’re buried!
- Your Name and Epitaph in the Valley of Dead Heroes We will put your name or a name of your choosing and an epitaph you write (subject to approval) in the Valley of Dead Heroes for all to see.
- Write an Item Description Write the description and history of an in-game item specified by the Torment team, content subject to approval and to be edited by Ray Vallesse. You will get an “additional design” listing in the credits for your work.
- Design an Item Design an in-game item. You will provided with some guidelines, write your idea, we will approve it, implement it and Ray Vallesse will edit it. You will get an “additional design” listing in the credits for your work.
- Design an NPC You provide the name and description of a minor NPC. Provide the basics of his looks and name, and we will approve him/her and place him/her somewhere in the game and Ray Vallesse will edit the work. You will get an “additional design” listing in the credits or your work.
- Obelisk from a Lost Empire You will work with the Torment team to choose the characteristics, design and tides of a monument of your choosing. Do you want it to be a statue? A pyramid? Does the wind howl through it? Does it drop stones from its height onto passers-by below? We’ll work the story of your hero into the game, and help you figure out where you stood in the Legacy and Tide systems. We will approve it and place it in a prime location in the Valley of Dead Heroes. Included with this is a design call with Brian Fargo and the team to discuss the Obelisk and any questions you may have.

Physical
- Boxed Copy of Game A boxed version of the game for Windows PC, Mac or Linux. The game disc will be DRM-free. We add a digital copy of the game to all backers that pledge on physical tiers, for the collectors among you that would rather not unpack the box.
- Printed Classic Game Manual A classic-style, thick game manual filled with tidbits on the game world, factions, enemies and mechanics.
- Collector’s Edition Box An exclusive collector’s edition box. Comes with the game and manual, as well as an old-school cloth map of the game world, a printed concept art book and a CD for the OST. Will be signed by the team at higher tiers.
- Concept Art Book A printed out high-quality book including many pieces of concept art created during the development process.
- Cloth Map An old-school cloth map of the game world.
- Soundtrack Audio CD A CD with the OST of Torment: Tides of Numenera, by Mark Morgan
- Printed Novella Compilation A printed bundle of novellas penned by Colin McComb, Ray Vallesse and Adam Heine that tie into the game and Numenera setting, exploring themes and previewing the story so you get a glimpse as you wait for the game. Will be signed by the writers at higher tiers.

- Printed Numenera’s Corebook A hardcover version of Numenera’s main rulebook, this hefty 416 page tome has everything you need as a player or GM to get rolling with your own pen and paper adventures on the Ninth World. Will be signed by Monte Cook at higher tiers.
- Leather-Bound Numenera CorebookNumenera’s Corebook, but in a leather-bound edition. Signed by Monte Cook.
- Large Cloth Wall Map A tapestry-sized version of the cloth map. Hang it on the wall by your computer and you’ll never get lost!
- Limited Edition Signed Print A limited edition print of a concept piece, suitable for framing, signed and numbered by the original artist. Choices for the print will include The Ascension of Kex-Lianish and Dust and Water concepts by Andrée Wallin, and An Unexpected Journey by Nils Hamm. We expect the size of these pieces to be approximately 32” by 14” (similar size but dimensions adjust depending on the exact concept piece). Other options may also be available. We are still researching our exact print methods but this will be a high quality print. We are looking at possibilities to print it on cotton rag paper, with a parchment paper surface, to create a true art reproduction feel. Will be delivered unframed.
- Limited Edition Statuette A limited edition bust/statuette of the First Castoff, approximately 12 inches/30 cm, signed and numbered by the sculptor.
- Private Party An invitation to the game’s launch party with the team in Newport Beach, California. Must be able to arrange travel to the location.
- Plaque of Gratitude We will design and create a weighty, attractive, engraved plaque with the game logo and an acknowledgement of your generous contribution. Extremely limited run.
